Watch, Read, Listen!

We’re all piggy little entertainment junkies, forever jonesing for that next sweet hit, so here are some of our top picks to sate that constant, screaming itch in your brain meat:

Fargo (Season 2)

If you haven’t hopped on board the Fargo train already you have some catching up to do, but you betcha it’s worth it.  The casting’s perfect, the cinematography beautiful and the storytelling tighter than a gnat’s chuff. Also, there are UFOs. Probably.

Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch

Following on from our interview with Andrew Cartmel, who is co-writing the comic run of the series, I thought it would be a good time to point you in the direction of the first book in Ben Aaronovitch’s highly popular urban fantasy series, Rivers of London. It’s all about a very likable young London copper who finds himself joining an unusual branch of the police force; a branch that keeps an eye on magical wrong-doings in the capital. They’re a fun, breezy, at times creepy read and well worth a go.

Ready Player One read by Wil Wheaton

Ensign Crusher himself (or maybe you prefer to remember him as the kid who pulled a leech of his ding-a-ling in Stand By Me) reads Ernest Cline’s modern nerd classic, Ready Player One. Go grab a copy and fill your ears.
