The most exciting stories are the ones you haven’t written yet. Maybe the ones you haven’t even thought of yet. There’s not even a whiff of them wrinkling your nose, but you know they’re out there, biding their time.
There are an infinite number of worlds, of characters, of things out there, just waiting for a writer to stumble upon.
Right now, the sixth Uncanny Ink book is almost done. Almost ready. It’ll be an ending of sorts, though that isn’t to say there won’t be more adventures for Erin Banks. But it is the end of this initial cycle of Uncanny Ink stories, and that means that it’s almost time to step towards those mysterious, exciting, new stories. Whatever the hell they might be.
The fifth Uncanny Ink book is actually out this coming week, and for those of you reading along, we’d love to know how you’ve been enjoying the series so far, as things build to a climax.
So that’s all pretty exciting. The big finale of Uncanny Ink on its way, and new, new, new stories are peeking over the horizon, but even more exciting than that… I’ve got a couch coming on Monday! I’ve been here, in my new place, furniture-less for two weeks now. My butt is ready for cushions. It can’t stop going on about it. Noisy butt.
