Hello, Insiders.
David here.
As those of you frantically assembling costumes for your children will already know, today is World Book Day (pro-tip: keep them at home and tell their teachers they’re dressed as Waldo from the Where’s Waldo? books).
But World Book Day isn’t just for the kiddiewinks. Oh no. WBD is a celebration of authors, illustrators, and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading.
And who better to read today than your favourite London-based indie authors, Bussell and Stott? No one, that’s who!
But isn’t there some other way I can celebrate you that doesn’t involve me spending money? Washing your feet, maybe? Sacrificing my first-born? Perhaps praying at some unholy altar?
All great ideas, but we’d much rather you purchase one of our books. It’s more hygienic, less blasphemous, and far more in the spirit of World Book Day.
So come on, what are you waiting for? Most of our titles cost the kind of money you find between the cushions of your sofa, so live a little!
