I’ve now been in LOCKDOWN for three weeks, how about you? It’s a bit weird, right? Hiding indoors most of the time. Queuing outside the supermarket as they let you in, one-by-one. Running screaming from anyone who threatens to walk that little bit too close. Yes. It’s definitely weird.
So help me out and let me know what you’re doing to get through it. Maybe you’re binging some great TV you wanna tell me about, or are ploughing through a great book (or ten!). Perhaps you’ve taken up a new hobby, or are eating up the hours playing video games.
Here are a few things I’ve enjoyed:
Ever heard of Neil Gaiman? I know, a bit under the radar, thought I’d help the guy out.
I’ve been re-reading his seminal comic series, ‘Sandman’. You like your weird and magical stories, so dig into this.
I might have mentioned that I’m a bit of a Doctor Who nut, so what better time to sit back and watch a few (dozen) of my fave stories?
At the moment I’m watching the spooky as heck Horror of Fang Rock. It’s about a bunch of people stuck inside a lighthouse as a plastic bag full of green goo picks them off one by one.
I’m Listening To…
A music recommendation?! These are strange times, why not.
I recently picked up the new EP by Christine & The Queens. The name of the EP is ‘La Vita Nuova’. Some of you might have noticed that those aren’t English words. Fear not! Most of it is in English. Apart from the bits that aren’t.
So that’s what I’ve been up to. Well, apart from working on my new book. Oh, you’d like to be reminded of the title? OKAY:
Now it’s your turn; comment below and let us know how you’ve been filling your days in these odd times!
