Okay, let’s have a bit of an update on what’s what and what’s when and what’s coming.
It’s two months since our latest book, Other London, came out, and the feedback from people has been mighty nice. The audiobook version has been recorded and myself and David are slowly (oh so slowly) working our way through it and adding notes for changes here and there for the narrator. It’s sounding mighty fine though, let me tell you.
The sequel to Other London will be out in the first half of next year, and I already have a bunch of notes for where to take Stella (and others) next. Right now though, I’m knee-deep in the first draft of the next Dark Lakes book. The initial plan had been to release it this year, but that’s now had to be shuffled to (probably) Feb of 2021. Hopefully, it’ll be worth the wait!
But don’t worry, we’ve still got something new heading your way this year! Actually, this IS 2020, the year of horror after horror, so let’s take nothing for granted here and instead say we’re certainly aiming to have it out this year..! David is steaming through the next Jake Fletcher book, and it’s looking to be the biggest tale yet for our dead detective. So watch out for that later this year! I mean, probably!
And after all that…?
Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we have to keep some secrets.
Also, I don’t know. That’s another reason for not telling. The main reason, really. Uh… what do you think we should do?!
