We put out our first book four years ago.
Actually, we put out our first book a little over four years ago, but it only crossed my mind today and not in February when the anniversary actually fell. Is four years worth celebrating? One year is. Five years, definitely. But four?
Still, it is an achievement, and in these hellish times, it’s good to grasp hold of good things and squeeze the living crap out of them.
So: four years, twenty-five books. I think. I haven’t double-checked, but it’s something like that. That’s a lot of books. Plus all the book collections. There’s a lot of those. And then there’re all the audiobooks of our stories we’ve released.
SO MUCH CONTENT.
And we’re not stopping. I mean, we’ve definitely slowed down, we’re no longer putting out books with the same crazy regularity, but we do have four new books in production. More Jake Fletcher, a new lease of life for Joseph Lake, and a return visit to Other London. All will be coming your way during 2021.
Four years down, four new books on the way. That’s a nice coincidence.
Anyway, here’s to four years of the Uncanny Kingdom. To four years of magic and monsters and daft jokes.
Right then, best get back to it. Other London 2 won’t write itself.
